This Privacy Policy explains how Avantos Games ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you play Cheeky Monkeys ("the Game"), a virtual reality multiplayer game available on the Meta Quest platform.
By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Account & Profile Data: When you play the Game, we may collect your Meta/Oculus username, display name, user ID, and avatar information provided through the Meta platform.
Gameplay Data: We collect gameplay-related data to improve the Game, including: game session data (duration, game modes played, maps used), in-game statistics (wins, losses, tags, scores), player interactions and multiplayer session data, and game settings and preferences.
Device & Technical Data: We automatically collect technical information such as: device type and model (e.g., Meta Quest 3), operating system version, game version and build number, crash reports and error logs, performance data (frame rate, latency), and IP address (for multiplayer connectivity).
VR-Specific Data: The Game uses VR controller and headset tracking data solely for gameplay purposes (arm-based locomotion). This motion data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or stored externally. We do not collect biometric data, room mapping data, or environmental audio.
Communication Data: If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide (email, message content) to respond to your inquiry.
We use the collected information to: operate and provide the multiplayer Game experience, match players and manage online sessions, track game statistics and leaderboards, detect and prevent cheating or abuse, identify and fix bugs and performance issues, improve the Game through analytics, and respond to support requests.

Meta Platforms: The Game operates on the Meta Quest platform, which has its own privacy practices. Please review Meta's Privacy Policy for details.
Multiplayer Services: To enable online multiplayer, basic player data (username, game state) is shared with other players in your session through our game servers.
